Autumn is making her way in now, and it is a wonderful season here in North Alabama. I love living where we get a taste of all four seasons. Some years are more extreme than others, but I also love the variety of each season here. The Dogwoods turned a bit early to me (it seems) and the Black Gums are almost bare now. There is still a lot of green in the other deciduous trees, so we will get our full "show" of color in a few weeks. We have not had a frost yet. This morning we had a cool Autumn rain.
Dogwood turning and tons of seed
It's a tad blurry, but can you see the Caterpillar? Great camouflage!
17 miniature Roses
Made so wonderful Eggplant Parmesan with some and 3 quarts of them in a tomato sauce.
Lovely Confederate Rose
First day they are pure white, second day a dash of pink, and third day like this. I love this plant.
